There is this element called luck also. And buffs. I noticed that I sometimes hit one person for lets say 350 damage and the other day I hit the same person for 500 damage. One day I own you other day im biting dust. Then there are things like did I critical hit him?. Did I parry in combat? Did I miss one hit?. They all determine the outcome of the battle.

rofl bards are rubbish. all they can do is mez, i fail to see how any bard could possibly beat a tank in a 1:1 duel. the other day me and 4 other albs came up against 8 (yes 8) lvl 50 hibs, they had 2 bards, but we annihilated them. they only had 2 left and i was the last alb standing, so i engaged the hero, and the bard stood there trying his rubbish boom thingies on me. i was well below 1/4 life, and it took him about 5-6 of them to kill me lol. so it'd take about 80 to kill me, and 2 hits for me to kill you. hoho. (maybe 1 with a crit).
