Football Manager is going to rock. I am using the Football Manager skin in CM to get a feel for it. :p

I got my game back, and now all is fine in the world. :)

You are a very very very very very sad individual.

Quick CM question: For those who played the original CM4, and now this updated reissue jobby - are the bugs fixed?

After installing all 5 'enhancement packs' for CM4 my Dad is still getting BSODs in the middle of his games as well as what seems to be a crippling memory leak. It's a bloody piss take. If the new version has been genuinely fixed though, I might suggest he cut his losses and fork out for the new one...

Didn't play CM4 much cos it was wank, but 03/04 is very good. Not had any problems with it myself.

Mobius: The AI make ridiculous bids for players sometimes. It's either fuck all or an insanely huge amount...
dys: Read the title of the thread.

I dont use my CD to play CM, but thats cause the whirring of the drive annoys me. But then I'd not lend the disc to anyone either.

Freddy Adu, Eddie Gaven, Alexander Fernerud, Matias Delgado and Franco Inchingolo are all players to keep an eye on - all can be had for less than a million iirc. All five are making sure I have a Juventus squad of the future as well. My signings over the past 2 and a half seasons include

the above 5
Tomas Locatelli - useful AM, eventually sold to Chelsea as I had too many midfielders
Kaka - After a slow start seems to be settling in nicely, altho he has just picked up an injury
Mohammed Gargo - decent defender
Dennis Bergkamp - hardly ever plays what with Del Piero, Trezeguet, Di Vaio and Miccoli all on stunning form.
Eddie Pope - solid US defender

Owen Hargreaves is an excellent midfielder, and you can have him from under 10million if you have the cash -pays off too, within one season his value was £20m. Barca keep offering me £25m or so for him every pre season.

Kevin Nolan is just as good, a bit younger and will take 2 or 3 seasons to develop.

Get two top strikers, one that is great at assisting and creating, one that is great at getting goals. Then, get them to sign contracts with the assister on a large assist bonus but no goal bonus, and vice versa. They'll both score more goals.

yay.
