liverpool - chelseas bogey club + in europe they're always good, but against prem sides again, i'm not sure.

chelsea - grinding away still, shev is playing better in euro than in prem games, and seems to be getting more confidence. A goal for ballack was a good thing, hopefully make him get into games more tbh.

Terry should be back and a few games under his belt, so defense should be getting alot more solid

United been quite weak in Europe to be honest, especially the away games. Hopefully they will be able to keep it together though.

Roma are definately a dark horse. They got some great talent in that team and they have a good chance against us. Will come down to who controls the midfield i reckon.

If United don't improve dramatically in the next 3 weeks we won't get past Roma, we really need to recapture the form we had earlier in the season if we are to have any hope of getting past this round nevermind the semis. Roma are a talented side and on thier day they are utterly leathal on the counter attack, United will have to do much more than they have done in the last 5 games if we are to beat them over 2 legs. They beat Lyon and let me assure you that Lyon are no mugs, they are on of the top 5 sides in Europe right now.

As for the other games, PSV could be awkward but if the scousers play with the same energy as they did against Barcelona then PSV have no chance. Chelsea v Valencia is a really intriguing game, Chelsea are rightly favourites but Valencia on thier day are a very good side and if they play well they could push Chelsea all the way.

I honestly fancy AC Milan to best Bayern, AC just have a knack of turning it on when they need it most. Bayern are still very much a side in transition and the result against Madrid doesn't really indicate alot as Madrid are piss poor right now. Hitzfeld is top class though and if anyone can overcome AC Milan it is him.

I honestly couldn't pick a winner for the cup right now, it is too damn close to call going on current form. If the scousers play like they did against Barcelona then they are going to be very hard to turn over, I haven't seen any side put as much effort into a game as Liverpool did at Anfield in a good few years, if they can keep that up they will make the final for sure, Chelsea or not.
