It is looking more and more like the draw was rigged. All four ties were leaked onto the internet 90 minutes before the draw in the correct order and sequence. The odds of gettting the entire draw 100% correct in advance are HUGE, it looks like UEFA and the media are covering it up though as it is getting very little coverage.

Bloke in work said he though the draw was BS as soon as we heard its like they are trying to keep Man U and Liverpool apart for the final.

Lets hope for United v Fenerbache for the final instead then, agreed? :p :D ;)

One thing to be said for the United V Liverpool final though, would break all TV records for a club match. The asian TV audience would be off the chart. Just a shame that it seems UEFA have stooped so low as to cheat to 'engineer' such a match.

Can you imagine how hard it would be to get out there though for the final?

Manchester and Liverpool are what, 30/40 miles apart? And they'd be flying out best part of 60-80 thousand fans to the final.

Mental, that said the draw may well have been rigged but the way in which the teams play is far from guranteed.

Aye but Liverpool already got the referee's helping them out with debatable red cards for the opposition :p

actually its not that big. apparently its only 191/1 to get it correct.

but yes, it does look like its rigged.

He didn't just get the draw right but also the sequence by naming the 'home' sides for the first game in the correct order as well. That would increase the odds dramatically surely?

100% Rigged draw, no question what-so-ever about it.

Pathetic of UEFA to sink this low and try to engineer the matching.

Whatever teams who get knocked out now will be of the chart and blaming the draw and such, will just be bad blood after this.

Personally I think Man U vs Barca would be a dream final, two technical and naturally offensive teams with great wingers that plays by the mentality that, "the one who makes the most goals wins" and not, "the one who lets in the fewest goals wins"... like liverpool and chelsea go by.

Then again liverpool tops the goal score in CL this year but it has alot to due with their wax off against Besiktas etc.

Manu vs Barca giev!! :l

Arsenal Man U currently hold that record with nearly 1 billion viewers so either way Man U Arsenal Man I Liverpool should be a massive draw. I just hope its not Man u Chel$ki because that would be dull imo.

Manu vs Barca giev!! :l

You will get that in the semi this year i think.

Utd won't win it, our tactics in Europe have been shite since Madrid beat us, SAF is too stubborn to change it.

I can still see a Barca v Chelsea final. Not sure who would win though.

191/1 without home team allocation too, aye. That'd make it 1528/1 (191*8 right?).

Those are pretty big odds but then again, this was leaked onto a small website; how many of these websites do you think have people making this stuff up for all of these big draws, everytime one comes around. That makes the unlikely, a lot more likely.

It is however a little strange that the bookies wouldn't take bets though...

What? We lost to Madrid 4 bloody years ago, since then we have changed tactics and the reward has been a semi-final last year and so far a quarter final this year. I don't like the 4-5-1 very much myself either but it does work in Europe for us when we can turn it into a 4-3-3 very quickly on the break. You will find no better example of that than the 7-1 beating of Roma last year and frankly if we hadn't had so many injuries plus tired legs in April last year I honestly think it would have been a United v Liverpool final then.

I am not saying United will win it, I am not even saying we will make the semi-final but tactically we have been spot on for the last 2 seasons in Europe. The only CL games we lost in those 2 years we played 4-4-2 if my memory serves me correctly. I love 4-4-2 but against the top European sides you risk exposing yourselves too often against world class attacking players. 4-5-1 turning to 4-3-3 when in possesion has served us very well this season, just look at the 4-0 win against Arsenal.

Man U on the team sheet play 4-5-1, but Ronaldo is a WF or SS. Same applies to Nani if he plays, neither will do any defending.

Man U and Arsenal for me are the best teams to watch play football. However with Arsenal you feel its all on the edge and it can all fall apart at any second. This perhaps makes it more exciting, but there is always a feeling of doubt. With Man U there is always certain inevitability and force behind their play. Like the Rooney, Ronaldo counter attacking goal from their own box last season (cant remember who against). As soon as Ronaldo picked it up in Uniteds half you knew how it was going to end.

Head says: Chelsea Vs Man U final, Man U to win and take the double.
Heart says: Liverpool Vs Man U final, Liverpool to win and make a late storm for the double!!!!! (if thats even mathamatically possible)

well, concidering that "leaked" draws have popped up just before every single draw makes one think that they would get it right atleast once every x years :)

tho i'd be stupid to have that as an argument hehe.
now its just wait and see if UEFA actually comes clean or not. i dont think they will but still.
