Champ + ML10 Thrust Merc Template

Decided to re-equip my merc post-RR7. Main changes I wanted to make were to use the champ weapon and ML10 offhand combo (10% thrust debuff and disease proc).

Requirements of template:
101 dex
101 str
~95 qui to cap at 250
10% melee speed
10% style damage
10% melee damage
Capped resists: Body, Cold, Heat, Thrust, Slash, Crush
+11 Thrust and Dual Wield

I also wanted the items:
GoV
Scalars
SoM
Champ Mainhand
ML10 Offhand

As you may know, thrust merc templates are quite hard to achieve. Ideally hits and con would be maxed as well, but having trouble getting them up at the moment. This is probably my best effort so far.

The only thing lacking imo are the hits. If anyone has any input, it would be appreciated.

I've edited the config report to make it more readable; removed excess caps and resists I don't require. The (x) resists are saracen racial resists.

Nice temp indeed, i would prolly go for a summon wep as TD or a ML 10 MH but each to his own likings

The problem is, summoning Blade Shadow means having Croc Tooth equipped for a while. This means battler charge won't be up in 2h slot for quite a while each time you play. I also have the tendancy to LD several times a night, crappy 6-miles-from-exchange ADSL connection :)

I was talking about a Summon elemental proc weapon such as traitors dagger or ML 10 mainhand, when i played my BM and i was MA if i proced a mist or wisp early on a target i could still change target and have him interupted for X sec.

Yeh, I have considered traitors before - have seen a lot of mincers use it recently well for interrupting. I was just interested to try out a disease proc, it's nice to hinder heals by 50%; and fook up their end regen for kiting.

Is it the ml 10 dis proc that cant be cured? If i remember correct in vintervargens druid pov vid he tries to cure VFs dis like 5 times but cant and then VF dies cause they cant keep the healing up:)

Nice template tbh, unfortunately the ML10 thruster mainhand doesn't proc the elementals so you can't just swap them over to try it out :(

Says summon elemental when u delve it but it procs random debuffs, these can be great if they proc the right stuff such as AF debuff or abs debuff:)

u get 5% racial heat and 3%racial thrust @ saracen, so only real loss is 2%body and 6con for 76hits, con can be debuffed, hits cant. u might wanna check the thrust champ mainhand has 4dw on it and not 4all melee, as the slash ones are: 4all main, 4dw off. only scope for improvement is the necklace as i see it, or perhaps drop 1 blackened wrap since ur not using the full dex cap off it and its lowish util. but if u did u prolly wouldnt have room to sc in more hp anyways so ;(

Cheers, but I don't agree with the "you have 5% heat racial so you can decrease heat" idea. The 5% is a bonus that should be exploited, not used as a comprimise.

Thrust mainhand has +4 All melee (which doesn't include DW I believe).

Yes but as I always say, you could say the same about anything.

"Oh, an extra 40 hits will do nothing when the assist trains on you"

"Oh, an extra 4% body won't decrease mez time much anyway"

Well you get the picture!

I like the idea of increasing hits instead of con, but I'm just not comfy lowering the elementals :)

sorry about that then :) just know what it says when you delve it :( havent got mine yet to find out :D but tbh will much rather want debuff then elements for my scout :D no need to give assains free evade so they can hamstring chain my ass.

I never buy RAs to make up for shortfalls in a template; that defeats the point really.

At RR7: Charge2, Det4, Pain4, LW2 + 1 point left.

I don't have 10 points I am willing to waste on aug qui!

Eggy blody hell man that is an insainly nices template when i get home ill have ago at improving it will proberly cost you quite a bit more then what this one would but it can be improved i beleive if the right items are appied!

Oh and nerf not being able to give eggy rep point need to spread some love around :(
