challenge to any mid/hib guild/alliance/group of friends

gertting sick from tacking a keep and wait for 3hrs before someone comes and try to take it back?

heres the game:

2 teams of 3 groups each, no more, no less.
each team has to defend a keep and has to take a keep.
this is beeing done on a set time and date.
No defender leaves the keep before the setted time
the keep that will be attacked is determined by the defender

for those that didnt get it, an example:
the albs attack first, the set time is 8pm, this means that the midgard is 7pm in the keep preparing all kind of tactics and weapons, albs might be there at 745 but do not attack before 8pm. no sb leaves the keep before 8pm. blabla fight fight foght, outcome.

2 days later same story other way around.

so if you are interested in such a game mail me at:

Albs that want to join in pm me ingame and/or email me. guildies and DoA gets first choice, but i have good hope that there will be some space left for other albs, first come first serve, lvl 40+ only

Ehh? First we have posters claiming we (hibbies) allways zerg (which may be not totally without substance but we are not only realm that do that these days) and that our PBAE is overpowered, and then you post this? Almost posted something a bit ewuhl but I am a nice guy so I wont

There was a good opportunity to see Hibbie keep defence in action last night at Beno, but sadly most Albs wanted to go and zerg in Emain instead

Must say that the Hibbies are very good at keep defence, but whoever it was last night that was exploiting the screenshot/jump bug to get on top of Beno's battlements didn't do anyone any favours. The daft thing was - those people didn't need to cheat, all 3 times that we tried to siege you we were outnumbered ... not a classic way to win a siege, but we gave it our best shot. Then some people decide they want to cheat

And yes ... screenies have been taken and it is being reported. Whatever good that will do I don't know, but wait and see with interest.

Note: not a flame against the majority of defenders who played the game properly; just a complaint concerning the 2-3 who used an unfair advantage.

I heard some of our guys yelling not to exploit that bug. I was kinda busy on the battlement firing at the albs so I never saw who was exploiting and if they stopped after being told too. But i agree it's lame and totally unacceptable.

Anyway, was a fun fight.

I'm up for it, but an idea would perhaps be to give the attackers an extra group? Defence always has the advantage what with guards, LOS and safer places to rest.

That was going to be my point.

Tactics over the years have proved that a defencable building requires twice as many attackers as defenders.

So if you had three groups plus guards, then we would need to have 8 groups minimum.

I cant believe how some fell hook line and sinker.

OK Can I just say to all you Albs. I've slept with all your mothers and daughters of legal and childbearing age just to improve the braincell count in your lands. Must say it wasnt pleasant but luckily I had a mask of Marilyn Monroe and a shaving kit on hand! Now you know WHO's the Daddy now

Anyway I'll give a reply as well. Just after midnight (thats 24th to 25th) 16 mids were camping AMG getting bored with the few albs coming to play.

We decide to go take Crim. Albs turn up and WE surprise them and Mezz nearly all of them I'm guessing but you had at least 3 full groups, 24 ppl or whatever! (conservative as I know it cant be denied) We did a stirling job kicking your mezzed butts but good on you guys you beat us when you came around though I laughed at the littered site at the end. Funnily enough I couldnt see you were mezzed and wondered why you werent charging

Anyway you rezzed your people and went to Bolg. In that time we kicked about 10 hibs waiting at AMG and thought lets go find you. Find you we did. At Bolg. I think we were about 18 ppl then max. We waited patiently deciding to let you do the work. Hibs came to defend and the best quote I heard was.

"We should attack soon you know the albs will mess it up"

Guess what! You did. You gave all your rp's to the hibs when you ran away and so instead of us all gloating over the lovely rp we get to slaughter 10 alive hibs from max of 2 group defence.

Now if your promising to hold a keep and want us to attack at different times, please be sure that the Mids are always allowed to attack first. I want your rp's its our turn not the hibs they got them last night!

Cavex, you could always do a /who hadrian ... and if you see a few Albs up there ask them if they're heading to retake Beno. Have been involved in a few assaults on Mid/Hib held keeps in that way.

Phoenix Legion in particular seems very eager to defend our realm, I'm sure Jupie or Laird would be glad of a hand from you and your lads
