gr8 vid enjoyed it alot - and i was in it for 15 sec on my inf!! the now std speed in side stun, mostly coz i was stupid and running un-stealthed!!!

Imho all can say whatever they want about censi, I think he's still the coolest ranger out there....why? Cause he was the first one to take me out to RvR when I was like lvl 38, together with Lloth.....ohhhh yer, great time =) Always been the one who pushed me to go on playing my ranger, till I decided that druid was more fun for me atm =)) But I think I will get these last 5bb pretty soon =) hehe
So c'mon, wget just says that speed upped from 32kb/s to near 60kb/s =)

I liked your video for a few reasons. You have no real fear in taking on 2 or even 3 at a time but maybe due to IP? I wonder why you never seem to use bow, is your spec low in it? Also you seem to be able to fire FZ at real wired angles, how do you do it?
wtf, ranger is so easymode to play. 1 backstyle for ze fun during FZ-ing, one sidestyle stun as opener and else just spam celtic dual tauntstlye

and about weapons, atleast in the fight vs that rr9 merc add one of the weapons looked like blade shadow, the summon weapon from croc tooth dagger.

yer its true about styles.
its all squal unless you side stun or snare style.
but basically its the best style. because as ranger you kind of accept you have no defense so the defensive penalty dont matter to much (maybe a little bit with evade) but its all about hitting getting the debuff off. so you need a style with good hit bonus.
the only class I even bother to use the hurricane line on is hunter but usually I outdamage them with squall. I dont really even bother with diamond back backup because they either stun immune from side style opener or I strafe around and stun..

well don't missunderstand this, I'm not saying you don't play well cause infact I think you do, just that the class seems to be rather easy to play stylewise (I laughed so much when I saw that 3-quickbar-setup which was totally unecessary for the class ) compared to classes like e.g shadowblade who, depending on specc, need 1 entire quickbar only for styles.

yer. but if you start thinking like a director when you are out on the battlefield you tend to get mullered. even remebering to press the fraps record button can cost you fights.
thats the thing with vids when you look at them theres lots of things that if changed would just make it so much more viewable. but at the end of the day all you can do is just go out there and RVR and capture some good kills (if your lucky.)
And also this vid gives a false impression on what a melee ranger can do. I get my arse handed to me so often by all sorts of things (mainly assasins), but you generally dont fill the vid with to much of that. playing any stealther in daoc is punishing (to quote vipr).
