real nice vid
nice to see fights against visuals in a ranger vid as most of the US ranger vids seem to be high RR melee rangers beating up on infs/sbs for 20mins
and it even has 'when you were sweet sixteen' in it

Pretty good movie... one thing though:
You're a Ranger, but you only used your bow 24 times (yes, I was bored) in 30 minutes. Why play a Ranger and not a Nightshade? Do they have some kind of advantage?
When I played, they actually used those bended(sp?) wooden things.

reinforced > leather, + access to winged helm and the greatest leeching ability of all, teh bow! ^^

why play a ranger and not a nightshade.
well when I started the game I knew fook all about either. I clicked "Ranger".
Stuck with it everysince (NS would have been better choice). Theres some real advantages in playing a melee ranger. You have superior timers to the assasin class, and if those timers are up you can really kick some ass. The disadvantage is that without those timers a well kitted skilvakten or myridom assasin could tear you a new one. Its not that rewarding playing a class whos strength is based on being high RR and having lots of OP timers to pop. Actually a melee ranger is prolly one of the weakest "classes" in the game. They are not designed to be played this way, its just abusing certain overpowered aspects of TOA.
Bow damage is so gimped though playing melee ranger is much more fun.

At least from the rangers i fight, they do really good in melee, but i tend to be lucky, and have certain abilities up for them
