After a discussion in guild about resistig mez and so on I tracked down the relevant information in the herald, and compressed it into an easy to use format here:
cleric mez / stun
spirit
minstrel mez / stun
body
sorc mez
energy
sorc / cabalist root
body
wiz / theug root
cold
healer mez / stun / root
body
runie root
body
shammie root
matter
skald mez
body
spritmaster (in the unlikely event you ever see one) mez
cold
spiritmaster root
body
So the important resists are body and energy, for the healer and sorc mez (these are the worst, the ones you really want to resist as much as possible).
In my experience, spirit and cold for alb roots and cleric cc are useful, but less so (although you'll obviously want to have heat and cold resistances up to avoid being killed off the bat by enemy casters)
And as always, Albs have it easier with bards and healers being on a single resist type, body.
