Omg, am i the only one to have read all of it?

The "intense" parts of it seriously fucked with my head whilst reading it... I was actually partially convinced, and i don't go for any supernatural shit...

However the ending, or at least how he ended it, made it so obvious it was a ghost story type thing, that i'm no longer feeling nervous :uhoh:

Oh well, i've allready spoiled it for anyone who's not read it, however if i could contact the person, i would ask him why he made it so god damm long :/

Heh, i find i can picture stuff in my mind whilst reading :)

I don't actually do much reading really... Considering that i get drawn in as much by words as i do by a visual medium(such as a film), i guess it's odd that i haven't really read any books for over a year.

Anyhow, it took me virtually 1½ hours to read it, so i guess someone else could be reading it... To put the whole story into prospective, for those that only read the first page... Well, i was scared shitless by the scary parts :(

That story is soooo boring! Goes into too much depth about the technicalities of caving and blah blah blah...

So I skim read more and almost fell asleep....

Crap story if you ask me....dont bother reading it!

If you aren't going to read the whole thing, then you won't appreciate the story. Sorry, but if i spelt out what happens, it'll sound shit since you'll have missed out on the tension, that really convinces you that this is a real log, of someone who experianced this.

I believe this is why you didn't notice the tension.

Reading of this kind isn't for those that want scary stories, it's for people who enjoy reading. If you aren't going to happily read every word, then don't read any of it.

I read the first 4 pages completely and there was absolutely nothing there that could keep me interested...thats why i started to skim read...

Obviously you are part of the 'Movie Generation', that is evolving from the American "culture".

I don't blame you for not being able to read, in terms of enjoying it, however i will jump up and down whilst calling you a simpleton :p

I usually read a book a week...

by people like: JRR Tolkein; Ian M Banks; Peter F Hamilton; David Eddings; Terry Pratchett; Jonathan Coe; Ian McEwan....etc

...they all have a story which keeps me reading!

Perhaps you need to read some real writing to realise that that story was crap!
