basicaly, you shud be aiming for 385+ buffed dex on a dd caster. 10% casting speed obviously essencial also

and yes 345 buffed dex is very low.

It's low, have 384 on celt menta with aug dex 4 and 373 on firbie animist with aug 5.

Luris don't even have to try - think my eldie got 390+ with aug dex 2 or 3.

With yellow dex/qui and red dex and +96 in template (will be +101 when i get remaining items) I get 386. Think thats with capped +buff bonus on cleric. If my maths is right, my dex with red dex/qui and +101 through template will be 406 (5 more through template, 12 through the difference between yellow and red dex/qui, and 3 for the 25% buff bonus applied to that 12 extra dex). This is with aug dex 3 btw.

imo, its more about reaction speeds in rvr, for egsample, you meet a fg of hibs/mids they have a mezz'r and you have a mezz'r in your fg, the first to target and hit the mezz button wins... sure alittle bit more dex helps, but its all about reaction speed

383 with 10 creation 101 temp & dex4, damn avalonians The irony is that theurgs who would probably benefit most from dex due to slow cast spells are forced to use a 60 dex base class, whilst cabbys etc who can use inconnau or saracen will cap their usual 2.5 sec spells in the 380s iirc, and waste dex by going any higher.

Make sure that you have 380+ fully buffed and 10% cast speed and you'll be fine.

its generally useless to compare dex levels, what's useful is comparing how close you get to cast speed cap. Which I believe caps at 40% of the spells cast speed indicator.

Dont go for absolute dex cap, go for absolute cast speed cap... might save ya a RA pt or 2

For example, I calculated my saracen cabby only needed aug dex 2 to hit cap with template etc, while my avalonian fire wiz needed aug dex 3 or 4

Cabby: 118 base (15 from start) + 101 temp + 155 buffage + 12 aug dex 2 + 10% toa speed = 386 dex + 10% = 0.3987 of delve ~ 40% of delve
