Amanita's ring is from catacombs, but if you want to use the template already, just swap the amanita to band of shadows and tweak the crafted parts (you get 2-3 more resistpoints in total this way).

in order to cap matter for catas you basicly have to drop sash + CB / zoarkat.
if you dont have some RoG of dhoooom..

matter in cata > cb/sash/zoarkat imo, but best is to get all of it :p

I like it a lot. Not to sound like a newb, but i thought erinys had 5% spell pierce not 5% debuff?

Cant see any of your other items giving spell pierce bonus but the very high resists and caps are a good trade off for the slight loss in spell pierce.

this template is especially tweaked for catacombs to get high(er) matter resists. and templates are personal, ie what you want in your template. i have both sash and cb activated, just choosing not to use them.

yeah you are right, i used the debuff instead of pierce just as a note, as the sc calc didn't have spell pierce as an option.

use archery dmg bonus, coz u wanna fit in actual debuff bonus aswell.

And btw, imo, no need for matter resists still..

Matter is druid/shammy dots/roots, which arent a threat to a caster.

Warlocks will either spec low in damage and have chambers in which case you arent gonna win against a warlock instaing 9 spells on you anyway, and if they dont spec chambers they have stupidly long cast times and if you cant beat a warlocks 4 sec cast time then you need to sort out ur cast speed ;)

agreed, and matter dmg will increase by alot in catas, atleast after the first few months

But he'll only have 10% tops, the chants of zahurs/cs piercings dont stack, but one stacks with the +pierce from armour/items. So you wanna get 10% on your armour/items.

he gets 5% from erinys, and 5% from cs or zahur..

zahur/cs dont stack due to both beeing active, yes, but no one stated they do..

id always want 10% PR going all the time, and rather not rely on others in the group having to use cs/zahur. Also i dont want to be using artis like CS for the PR, since i dont want to be caught in a fight with my timer still cooling down for using next arti which i may actually need. Not much of a problem for higher rr casters who can spend points on RP/MCL (though imo theres enough power through sash/tartaros/pots/stones).

sash is for a fotm hib grp: 125% RP.

i could today live without the 10% passive PR due to cs/zahur always beein there.

Totally agree with eso and staj. Matter dmg gonna be the new type to screw people in secs if they havent cap it.. No matter warloc speccing since they do/have matter dmg spells aparently u have to care more about it than pierce resists since already been told in most decent/good rvr groups u run theres always 1-2 peeps with cs/zahurs/jas artis on em.. so u have the bonus anyway..

Not to mention that no matter how many warlocs dont spec in matter u will always have 1900980980980 other warlocs who will spec since is the new FOTM :p

yeh, but from the eld point of view you need as much debuffing as possible, while u can have the PR + nice fat debuff on top.

getting back to the template, even if i did drop to 5% PR id probably chose to keep sash over erinys (if at all possible) but id still want some form of CC bladeturn.

as for dropping CB, i've had many time where the pac/sorc mezzes group, yet i can keep going, then turn around and land a mezz/speed ward on them giving our group more time to get back into the fight.

As for warlocks, you've got:

A: Nearsight
B: hardly any BGers in mid groups
C: Their dropping a fair key character for the extra dmg output
D: overpowered dmg anyway :p

would never dump sash.. its not really for u, but for grp support, i hardly ever use it just when i need power, have tart/raging/mcl/pots for that, but those long tedious fights or when grp engages a new fight just after finishing another.. droods will <3 u xD

tho cb doesnt really bother me, helps idd but spread on inc etc.. :p (+sos)

i really found no 'easy' way to fix a caster template cata-rdy wo dumping the belt cause of its 0uv (got only 14%matter on fatty and will live with that me finks 8< )​

This is the very best i can come up with if im made to use jacina's+erinrys+cloudsong. GoV has to be there, nailahs wont fit. tartaros there for MCL2 charge, and mad scalars. for the life of me i couldnt get +100/101 dex/intel without losing far too many resists/hits..if anyone can do better please post ^^

I dont really understand the thing with resist pierce tbh.. lets say you got 10% on your items... Then somebody use CS.. Are you saying CS will not stack then? and you will still have 10%? Anyway, i kinda have to agree that replacing jacinas with woven malamis seems to be the best option, altho that template above looks kinda good aswell.. Mayber we could see the whole deal? Would like to see the items :D..
I tryed changing my temp to cata with matter resists... but only thing so far ive came up with was 18%(+5) energy and 17 matter resist.. Will this gimp me :confused:
Got 10% spell pierce, capped range and 30% pool on that one aswell.. and 200 hits. Rest of resists are fine.
