Im assuming here but to be honest the previous 20 or whatever have all been pretty much the same story.

James Bond has to stop a bad guy.
The bad guy wants world domination of some sort
The woman is linked to both Bond and the bad guy
Bad guy has a mercenary who looks hard as nails
James bond gets caught
Bad guy explains plan to Bond and laughs
Bond gets out and has to face the mercenary
Bond kills the Mercenary, bad guy either gets away to be in the next film or gets killed.
James Bond fucks the lady at the end
M ends up saying "that bond is such a whore".

Seriously its the same shit every film, if there are no more books left i reckon Jerry "I put big explosions in films" Bruckheimer. That guy doesn't make new films, just bigger explosions!

I have not seen the film as i may download it, i can roughly tell whats gonna happen.

completely different approach to the whole thing, its not a traditional bond film

Pierce Brosnan was the best bond tbh. I think he just had the bond style... sounds funny but he was quite smooth when playing his character.

Haven't seen the movie yet, so cant judge.

Wasnt too impressed, The guy is a great actor but not a great Bond imo. Also the break from traditional style, while it could of worked i feel it didnt. If you see a bond film you expect wild chases, usually one involving a car, you expect gadgets, you expect Q (or the Cleese equivalent) and it wasnt there. Even the story was brought together to be 'meh' at best.

the way i see, Brosnan was always a smooth talker, he talked his way out of it, or used some gadget. This new bond, first off he is blonde but he is so huge he wont need any gadget it justs looks like , let me save the fucking world or i'll beat the shit out of you k? theres no smooth lines or anything, he's just too meat. But thought the film was actually good ;P

Agreed Connery was the perfect Bond, though I do think Brosnan did a decent job of it too, i'd of liked him to do a couple more before retiring.

I just saw it, I thought it was suprisingly good, deffenately better than the previous 2 Bond films. Although Daniel Craig doesn't look like a Bond, he does play the part really well. And despite all the violence in the film, the most painful part was when he totaled that car.


Just 1 things though: Bond would not play fecking Texas Hold-All crapy immitaion poker!
