Dunno what ive done but for soem reason i carnt connect to things such as daoc and msn but i can browse the web. If any 1 knows the casue of this problem i would like to hear it.

check if you are being blocked by some firewall software (e.g. Zone Alarm etc) daoc may not have been permission to access the internet.

Dont think its that only firewall i have is windows one and ive tried turning it of.

I had a problem like that lately too. I was playing daoc, and suddenly I went LD on both chars, main comp and laptop. I also got disconnected from msn. But irc was working fine. When I tried to log onto daoc again, it froze up at the point where it checks for updates when you start the game. Had to ctrl-alt-delete to make it go away. When I restarted, everything worked properly.

So no idea why this happens. But it happened on both my desktop comp and laptop, and it only happened to me two times when I was playing daoc.

Who provides your internet connection mate?

What you can try is going to your start menu in windows, selecting 'run', type 'cmd' in the box and click ok. You should get the black command prompt window up. At the prompt type ipconfig /flushdns and press enter you should then get confirmation:

Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.

Then give it another go and see what happens.
