In 2002, you’ll come back as a Long Island Iced Tea

It is a brand new year so time for reinvention, right? Wrong. This year, your strengths will lie in what you know and the familiar will bring you comfort. Why mess with a good thing? If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.

Instead, why not put your feet up, take long lunches, smoke unfiltered fags, drink too many double vodka martinis, laugh toothy laughs and drag your swollen, discarded carcass, seething like a sack of poison, back to the office every day. After all, it worked for Patsy on “Ab Fab,” did it not?

Your mantra for the New Year: My liver is my enemy

Disclaimer: this forecast is neither a reflection of this company or its employees. It is a frivolous bit of nonsense intended for amusement and should not be responsible for business decisions taken, jobs lost, relationships destroyed, hearts broken or the subsequent dining on frozen dinners.

In 2002, You’ll Come Back as a Black and White Movie
With the arrival of 2002, it is time to batton down the hatches (whatever that means) and leave the joviality and merriment to yesteryear. It has been widely reported that irony is dead. Time to think serious thoughts, plan serious plans and wear serious clothes. You’ll want to make special efforts to iron your garments, impress the elders, and remove Solitaire from your computer. Oh and also surf less porn. Never before has a stiff upper lip been so important.

Can you be the strong and silent type? Only time will tell… but if you follow those tips, this should be a good year for you. Just don’t let us catch you laughing.

Your mantra for the New Year: Think Humphrey Bogart.

Strangely accurate, I reckon. :/
In 2002, you’ll come back as Men’s Room Grime
It’s time to wake up and smell the caramel macchiato. Your colleagues are onto you this year. Although you still cling to the pathetic notion that you are a fine and upstanding citizen, your office mates secretly (or not so secretly) suspect you are not as nice as you may seem.

Take precautions (ie. stop forwarding around that filth, watch your web surfing habits, stop using four letter words in front of new business clients, and wash your hands after using the toilet- er, the last one is just good hygiene) to keep the gossip at bay. Do your best to sweeten your profile around the office (This equates to more tea duties, I’m afraid) and use more positive outlets to vent your pent-up frustrations (try kickboxing or sex rather than pounding on your keyboard).

Your mantra for the New Year: Can I get you a nice hot cup of tea, luv?

This is your year. You are at your most beguiling in 2002 and people are just clamouring to touch the hem of your garment, even when you are at your most wretched (which happens to be most of the time!)

Milk it for all it is worth. Now is the time to ask for that pay rise, to propose to your CEO (if he or she is so inclined), to apply for Popstars. If people use the words “no,” “get lost” or “you must be kidding” in passing conversation, then purse your lips together, arch your back and pout ever so stubbornly like an It Girl/Boy. They will love you for it. Particularly if you are a man.

Your mantra for the New Year: Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.
