What a frivolous expense Can't afford anything like that, far too expensive and superfluous for me

Actually the better tyres pay for themselves, they last longer you see. Just never ever get Dunlops, road noise is horrendous.

Not on my wage they don't: after tax, NI and student loan deductions, I was treated to a whopping £1063.05 for the month of April.

Tyres are the LAST thing I can afford to buy.
