Actually Hibs certainly knew how to use numbers to their advantage in HW earlier, when after being beaten in a pretty fair fight they came back with 2fg to beat all seven or so Albs in HW... including our little group of three (two clerics and a sorc, naturally - nothing but the best line-ups for us!).

Not saying Hibs shouldnt use shrooms m8, would just be nice if they'd admit that without them we'd have their relics in myyrdin by now. Its just about giving credit where its due, and saying "Good try, it was a close one", instead of appearing like you guys did some amazing strategy that kicked our alb asses... You spammed shrooms, add to that the big amount of albs, hibs and mids that were in the zone and you get a server crash.. which imo sucks.

Would rather get beaten fair and square and un-linkdead, id rather see the battle and get beat than get excited over nothing cos the server crashed. YES Id rather face your billion shrooms in deh RR keep!

As far as the zerg comments its always levelled only at Alb, noone will admit it from Mid or Hib, least that Ive seen, its always "OMG Albs zerg", fact is each realm zergs, its a tactic. Army with the most soldiers generally always wins the war, if ya dont like that then it's time to actually a) switch realms, or b) Fight anyway and rely on better skills/luck/teamplay to get you thru, or c) roll a stealther and play the stealth war game... might get zerged but less chance stealthed.

Yeah its a repetitive arguement that goes over and over but you hardly ever hear albs bringing it up.

No M8, but we have ppl like Nolerdraic, Novamir, Saadyst etc who actually work out Plans to take those Relics (back). Its not a matter of Shrooms or Numbers we have them. It's all about having the right peeps!

We never took a Relic with Shrooms so far. And Shrooms get nerfed soon. About the Crashes. The Server crashed before Animists aswell. Reason?

The only Reason why you can't keep the power Relics is your Relic Keep. It's too far away to get Reinforcements into it fast enough and noone RvR's in your Frontier = No Reports of Inc Hibs/Mids.

Thanks for the replies icebreaker. I agree with you to some extent about when you say its all about having the peeps who organise good rr and such. However i think there is more to it then that. If what Darksadness said was true (I havnt checked it) that all hibs across all euro servers hold all 3 power relics except 2 servers, then it is alot more then just having the right peeps.

Not to add more to the flames atm but is it really the servers fault? Could be programming I suppose.

But look at it from this point of view, if you get x amount of pet spamming classes, stick em in a relic keep, get a hefty enough force to take out the keep with said classes and friends defending, then get the other realm (tonights case would be mids) to try and take advantage of the situatuion, what is there really there to stop the relic defenders from spamming billions upon billions of pets to crash the server?

Answer is nothing... with FoPs pow is always there, and therefore pets.

Notice I havent mentioned any realm by name, just so the anti-flame brigade dont jump on this.

Now why the hell hadn't Mythic thought of this before?

m8 an alb/mid alliance is very funny, for the record we've had worse probs tryna take Mid relics than we had with hib.

Dont ya remember that whole week when every night the server had to be reset cos Alb was out in vengeful force in odins cos the server fell tits up after one of herbals massive raids?

and to the alb mid aliance we had few people with chat bug that heard the mid msg's of not to kill albs inc to dagda and had mids camping DL and DC also at the time
