Caprica (Pilot)

I'm sure ECA has seen it But wondered if anyone else managed to get a glimpse of it.

Its the series set some 100 (?) years or so before the events of Battlestar Galactica.

So far, from the 1hour 20+ minutes it was 'ok' but not sure how they are going to make a series out of it.

I thought the entire daughter in a computer sim/hologram was really strange
Liked the Cylon, looked pretty cool. Thought the 'warrior' type religion (forget the name) with the tattoo's was cool, they seem a little mafia like though right now, even down to some of the acting.

So, just like with just about every other sci-fi, they've run out of ideas to go forward, and decided to jump on a bandwagon and have a look back instead.

Thing is, i enjoyed galactica due to it having the distinct possibility of space fights etc, war.

With this, well, i can't help but to think it's your basic soap sold with robots

Haven't seen it, am acquiring it! But we have to hope that maybe after a few seasons they will think about diving into the first Cyclon war, would be awesome!

Had a chance to sit down and watch it, I've got to say I'm not too sure on this one, it has potential but we'll see how the plot plays out in the next few ep's.

I Liked it, not sure how it ties into the worker revolting and becoming the cylon race, but I suppose that is what the tv series will explain.
