I have been trying to install TOA on my second pc so the wife can play it on her account. However I just keep getting
"I/O error while installing a file. This can be caused by corrupted installation Media or corrupted instalation file"

I have tried both copies of TOA and both are fine on main pc. I have also copied the disc to the Hard drive and tried to install that way but with no success.
im running windows 98SE on an Athlon XP2000+ if thats of any relevance at all.
Any ideas?

When you get that error, abort the installation. Run Camelot.exe, fill in ur cd-key and patch what you miss.

Worked for me, even tho I had to download whole cd2.

unfortunately I'm not getting a camelot.exe file in the toa folder:(. it is happening at the start of the install. Its my PC that is wonky, that i am sure of just wondering if anyone knows a fix.

I did try what you suggested from the SI .exe file but made no difference

If you have toa installed on 1 pc, just copy the toa directory from pc1 to pc2. There isnt any registry settings and stuff like that in daoc, nothing important anyway :)
