Cant find these...

Found some semi rimmed eye glasses in a shop but i cant find them on the web, trying to see if i can find a better price but my search skills are shit.

all i know from what the lady wrote down is thus,

Police XD(this is either 1, I or l) 179
BK 531

The bit with Police in it looks like it refers to the model ID, and the number below looks like where it's found in the shop i think.

What company did you go to btw?

it seems 531 may indicate rimless glasses or something similar, i noticed this number appears quite alot. I also found Xd2279 and other types so maybe the model im after is out of date?

Tbh it really depends on what company you go to. I know with where i used to work (D&A), the code looked similar to that, although one part of the code indicated the model and the other part it's location on the bays.

Have you tried other opticians to see if they do them cheaper?. Normally if you have a frame code or a rough idea of what they look like they should be able to order in a sample pair for you to look at.

yeah it was a D&A place, im guessing they didn't put the exact codes down so i would have this trouble

My advice then is to go look in Specsavers (if you don't mind shit customer service ) or Boots for the same pair, D&A are stupidly overpriced compared to other opticians.

The V2877 is the style number, 531 is the colour code -

The V2877 is the style number, 531 is the colour code -

damn, seems the pair i want are close to nolonger being sold.
