Yeah i use to run a Proxy for my Network (Analogue X) and for some reason no matter what, i always got banned while it was runnin, so i had to disconnect and shut down the proxy to access mIRC

Its pretty simple mate, with an open proxy, Quakenet wont let you in. An open proxy is simply one that allows external access, so you have a choice. Either shut down the proxy, or change it so that only LAN ppl can use it. (Make it closed)
