Because Gray, and correct me if I am wrong, because I may be. Everton have played less games than Liverpool. Yes Liverpool will probably finish 5th or 6th, but I think the winner of a cup should be there to defend it. I'd like to see an extra English team in the competition, but if it came to it, IMO Liverpool should get the 4th Champs League spot if they win.

Well thats no-ones but Liverpools fault, just because they played more games means nothing to anyone they should have chose to not play in certain cups if their Champions League future was at risk.

(And by that i mean, play a second string team - One thing Everton couldnt do)

We had an awesome first season with Moyes in charge, we just narrowly missed out on a European place, the season after (Last season?) we had a fight for relegation - But then, we didnt have £30m in our back pocket.

With the £30m and the Champions League money if we qualify then superb! We wont be fighting relegation again with Moyes in charge we should be fighting next season exactly like this season, beating the old faithful Man Utd a few times along the way

You forgot the several thousand in the back pockets of linesmen who dissallow perfectly good (fuck good, class) goals and give goals when the ball hasn't crossed the line.
