help me to decide on what new game's i could possibly get?

i liiiiiiiike genres such as racing, rts, fps and maybe adventures, anyone?

Blimey. That's an open question. I'd recommend

Operation Flashpoint for action/strategy/FPS/tactical stuff. It's hard.
Max Payne is excellent single player action/FPS but with limited replay value.
Colin McRae Rally 2 for racing things.
Age of Conquerors is possibly still the best RTS.
Crimson Skies is a superb, fun flight action/simulator with a dash of humour.

Anyone else?
