Can I use a mentalist instead of a bard in a PBAE group?

Well... At least Im grateful as a bard, for having a mentalist around, having mentalist's mana regen enables me to keep playing end constantly (switching between instruments/songs can be a pain...) AND makes it possible to sometimes pull out sword and shield (...and just maybe an invader will mistake me for a tank and instead go for the caster standing close by and let me just whack at him for a swing or two OR, more importantly, let me to mezz his ass).
A good thing about mentalist mana regen is also that it isn't cancelled even if the caster is wasted (...and it will most probably outlast its caster in RvR .

How many mana song 5 bards are there around anyway? At least one ment around (you know who you are...) has mana regen 5, which is awesome (and that's putting it mildly).

confuse is elite
it can be used to a simlar purpose to lull..and since we have a warden..np.. after confuse is over, agro list is clean.

Lethania, in the group Im going Id be VERY surprised if I had a boring moment! Half the group is homicidal maniacs ( inlcuding me ) the other half is so funny they make me fall of my chair once in a while .
