A decent 5.1 dolby system, I've looked around but, they seem too pricey for what they offer, im going to have it linked up to my Stereo/Widescreen TV/PC/XBOX/VHS.

Any suggestions, im only just learning about A/V stuff, so I may be looking in the wrong places.

Marantz SR5200 is very good apparently. £333. SR4200 is good at £200 if you want a cheaper one.

I recently picked up a Panasonic SA-HE7 from Richer Sounds for £130. Dobly digital with 1 digital coax input and 2 digital optical inputs. Radio tuner built in. More AV ins and outs than you can shake a stick at.

Even with my mediocore Warfdale speaker set the sound is suprisingly clear. No DTS decoding, but with Dolby Digtal there it's nto a great loss.

There's also a load of video in's and and out's, so you can wire almost everything thought the amp and remove most of the need for scart leads.
