sure it was the xray machine and not just some random shittyness? I've had all sorts of electronic kit thru xray machines and never had any problems.

I am not sure it's the xray machines. I took over 400 pics last week in Corfu and all was well and the camera/card went thru Heathrow and Corfu (90 year old machines).

Personally I blame the drink TdC had with Chet/Septic Peg on Sunday........

well, after a bit I'm inclined to forgive the machines and consider that perhaps my card was just on it's last legs. I formatted it and the card claimed it was a 437mb capacity model rather than a gig (which it should be) so I gather it's on the blink.
