Are you using OpenGL super? If so, I don't think DirectX will make any difference. I find that with Direct3D its more stable, but I don't get to see bullet holes, blood, scorch marks, etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong.

Bah, use software people. It's is truly the most wonderful option in the entire world...

Heh. Well, I did use it until just before Christmas :) Probably why I'm so shite now, I'm not used to having such a smooth framerate that's above 25 and more than a res of 640*480!

Though you could see people through walls when they stood real close to them, as well as many things poking out when they shouldn't have been ;) Fear teh ub3r wallhacking skillz!

Hmmm, maybe all this is a video card problem, I've got a slightly outdated driver on now, and I can use the cameras again. MOH is behaving like a lunatic though, with grey flickering trees and such.

If (IF) I were to upgrade from my Matrox G400, what would be a good card to buy? I'm talking reasonably fast, works faultlessly with everything, and not too expensive.

Tommy try here:

http://www.microdirect.co.uk/

Its situated on the road at the back of Saint Mary's Hospital and is the cheapest place I have found (though I didn't think u had a cash prob ;) )

I recomend you use an Asus video card of the GeForce ilk. :)

Thanks crapini, the trade link is good cos I can use that to get a discount. I have an Asus motherboard too, so it might be better for compatiability. My business partner has an older computer, a bit crap, so I could shove the Matrox in his.
