Calling anyone who plays on a laptop brought from Tiny about a year ago.

Does anyone out there play SI on a laptop brought from Tiny.
I can remember what my model is called but is was specced at
PIII 1ghz 512mb ram 16mb s3 twister gfx card. I am using latest drivers for the card but it has a VIA motherboard & i have no idea what model it is.
When i first installed SI i get a small gfx glitch on my character on the selection screen. I first logged in inside DF and everything looked ol except this small glitch coming out of my char. When i went outside everything is messed up & cant see a thing. I am wondering if anyone else had this & got around it or knows what Via mobo this laptop is so i can get new drivers. I also get crash to desktops from char selection screen or ingame.
Oh i have DX9 as well.

IIRC Via drivers are unified so they work with all via chipsets.

SIGH Drop direct X 9.

Got new 4 in 1 dirvers and altered my gfx to 32mb in bios. Crashes more than ever now. So much so i cant even see if i sorted the grafix problem as i dont get past the char select screen lol.
