I'm sure we're not the only ones being annoyed to death at the moment. Running around for hours without meeting any groups is just no fun; It's frustrating and it will end up in more people quitting this game.

The only group we encounter once or twice a night is Defiance who always give us a nice fight. (sorry for the alb adds sometimes, nothing we can do about it :( )

So to all RvR-guilds/fixed groups, do you reckon we can come up with a fixed zone for us to roam in? Perhaps that would just give us some nice guaranteed good fights.

Perhaps it's a crap idea, but it's all I can come up with atm :(

Some input please

Most people quitting the game?

There are more people in rvr now than their were in OF - they just don't happen to be specially constructed gank groups who want to play their own version of CS meets King Arthur.

it's a bit annoying running around whole hibernia/albion/midgard to find fights but meeting nice grps like yers makes up for it ;)

Wouldn't mind some more groups to fight though... although the random grp with 90 adds is a nice challenge as well ;)

Yeah. Thanks to the few FG we meet. Those fights rocks :)
Regarding NF and fg vs fg, its still very possible to fight fg vs fg. There are alot of places to roam imo.

this is a good idea tbh :)
question is.. which is the new fg vs fg RvR zone?
is it hibernia, midgard or albion?
i personally prefer midgard.. have had fun fg vs fg fights there (except if it was on a bridge) then again that was more than a week ago..

I'll do a /who for all the frontier zones and pick one with a low Albzerg pop! ;)

Seriously, though, I don't think you can have a fixed zone... you'd need to move around to avoid the flood of people coming to check out the locations of fights that pop up on the /rw map. From recent observation I expect you'd end up in having the majority of fights in the zones where the portal keeps are.

So?

The incorrect grumble here was that because the gank groups didn't like it therefore everyone else must not like it and most people were leaving - which is wrong. There may be less PvE, but there is more RvR.

Ever considered that the majority prefer RvR without the gank groups?

The no challange whatsoever RvR? obviously you haven't tried fgvsfg even if you loose its still alot mofre fun then sticking with the zerg.

There are less people in PvE AND less people in RvR.

Pre-NF people were complaining about there being well over 100 Albs in Emain and 60+ Albs in Odin's. Probably 200+ Albs RvRing... the last few days you'd be lucky to get 100 Albs by doing /who for each of the Frontier zones and adding the numbers together. RvR populations peaked for a week or so, but now the novelty has worn off and there are fewer people in the Frontiers.

You'd probably see a large pop of Albs if keeps came under serious attack, but that hasn't happened because the Mids and Hibs currently seem unable to gather a sufficiently sized force to take keeps.

To be quite honest, current RvR conditions would favor fg vs fg RvR if groups from all realms agreed on a general area to roam in to avoid the zergs... ;)

Thats your perogative. I signed up to a game that I thought involved mass epic battles, not 8v8 CS with swords. If you were involved at the da behn siege the past few days you'd appreciate the scale and skill of both attackers and defenders. This is more like th game i thought I'd bough all that time ago.

Sorry gank groups that are threatening to quit - won't miss you.

Ego nice post and a great initiative.

It is always a blast fighting people who still roam as full groups. ;) Respect to Ego and everyone else that still does.

I would say Breifine is the best place for encountering fgs atm, judging from my experience so far in nf.

And the fight will ofc show on the /rw , but still, its rather similair to pre-nf. When you fought alb groups for example, the zerg was there after a few mins, thats why you moved quickly after a fight. Same goes for NF, stick up, hide, buff and get back into the game.

I think naming an official rvr zone for fg vs fg is atleast worth a good try.

Its not like the zergs wont show up, they will for sure. But we all fought in emain (pre nf) with zergs in the area as well. But instead of a /rw map there were cgs and pms working much the same. But we all found ways to go around them, as much as we could.

Anyhow, nice initiative Ego. Will be intresting to see what comes out of this :)
