I know it doesn't Froler but it's still 1 style instead of 2..lazy is better :)

if thrust = 50 thrust
slash = not worth 50 slash for a crap style that takes twice end and does hardly any more dmg than amethyst, I had 43 slash on my inf.

50 cs = useless unless you want as high cap as possible, basically creeping death at 34 cs is all you need. Because the rib separation and ripper in the 4 style combo does _bad_ damage compared to hamstring and leaper, about the same, also remember that if you get parried/blocked/evaded/you miss or whatever you can't continue the chain.. which will happen very often.

about RA's, just to comment from liste: see hidden is such a waste of 8 points, sad but true. Hunters pretty much doesn't bother to stealth when their in emain, they just walk with zerg, and what does it help if you can spot a hunter in middle of a zerg, not much. And the amount of hunters are also so low so wont get much use of it as it costs.
also aug str 3 sounds kinda pointless, don't know what you would need that for. Agree with Jadow tho about dualist reflexes, it's not that bad, good with some "free" damage. "Forget dodger" <-- naah, dodger is fine, but not worth going for higher than dodger 2 imo, especially after the 50% evade cap coming up.
Had vanish myself, I liked it, but honestly, I wasted it MANY times when I wanted to check when it's ready :).

not worth taking any avoidance of magic imo, since it doesn't add to melee resists.

thrust or slash vs SB, if you ask me, thruster will do better against a SB, doesn't matter if you get minuses.. you got DF that's worth more than little more dmg imo.

In the end it doesn't really matter much slash/thrust, neither of them are "gimped", doesn't mean you can't kill tanks just because your slash, or can't kill SB's because your thrust.

Can say I had plans on respeccing to 50 thrust 34 cs and something, I had 43 slash and 50 cs before, nothing wrong there, nothing to complain about, but think thrust has a bit advantage over slash. Sold acco before respec so never got to test it out.

i do belive i evade more with tranq....i got dodger1, and evade like hell with tranq.

If you go 50 slash you shouldn't do it because of the style, you do it because of the weaponskill with ~65 slash spec. The above spec with 50 slash chews SB's though. Mid leather -> slash weak.

50 Thrust in that spec gives you more versatility vs other classes though.

AoM. Granted, it doesnt give any bonus to melee. but in turn for the resists it does give, you can free up a slot or possibly two, to get some melee resists.

Aug Str 3. I'd get it simply because you have crap strength as an inf. Not to mention, its needed for Mastery of arms, which i consider a must :p

Dodger. nah. screw it. be grouped, get buffs.

Vanish. yes. i liked it too. wasted it very often too :)

Duelists reflexes. hm. well, never tried it actually. 3% didnt seem like a big deal to me...



as everyone can see, everybody has their personal likings. What makes a char successful, is largely determined by your style of play, your determination to master it, and your time spend doing it.
Spec matters, ofc. but the small differences, matters less.

remind me to macro some standard replies to /advice.

/macro: How would you like to play?

/advice: bah, sod off n00b. you dunno nuffin, stfu ~

imho it's pretty pathetic that you infils get a stunstyle based on an evade ... not to mention that it's 9secs, would be fair if it was 2nd or 3rd. If 2nd it should have a medium stun instead ... :puke:

There are plenty of cases where the infil was loosing, then he lands DF and own the adversary ... should ONE style really be the difference between winning or loosing?!

Nerf df ...

If you're in infiltrator, by all means, go for See Hidden, but I would really really recommend against it if you're a shadowblade or nightshade, its an awful RA... terrible.... waste of points...

I'm 50 thrust and I prefer thrust for the following reasons:

1) You will have a higher weaponskill as it's based off 50/50 str/dex, instead of 100 str with slash.
2) There are a lot more +thrust items and +dex items in the game for an infil than +slash items, which in turn raises your weaponskill even more.
3) Dragonfang is a much better style than diamond slash.
4) Thrust is now neutral to leather, I dont have any trouble with SZs in a 1-1 fight.

Also some advice get atleast MOP3 :) I'm on MOP4 now and will taking it to MOP5 as soon as the IP/FA2 nerf goes in.

Heh nah, I don't group (not the inf style anyways), and don't play buffed, since I don't see the fun in ganking someone with advantage.

TS again: trust me it's useless :D, I took it first day when we got RA's, man I saw 2 hunters stealthed in hmm, 3-4 days, now that's a waste, I see them good enough without any TS again. On other hand I'd say ts might be useful for mid/hib since they can spot minstrels too, not that I think many of them stealth, just run around zerging I suppose.

spell resists bah screw them, it's not like we're supposed to get nuked or anything. Aug str, naah, 18 str hardly makes much of a diff I think.

3% = 6pts in DW, could be useful if you specced low in DW to get higher in another specline .... not to bad imho even if you got high dw and some points over :)

Aug Str 3 is still required for Mastery of Arms - a must for Slashers.

and slashers cuts through any form of SB like butter. they dont NEED the Fang for that :)

Why the high env/stealth? i want to spend less imbue points on stealth/envenom :)

Come sweet SC i can put the spare points in Resists and such :)

eehh well im slash atm. Its fun and easy , perfect for me since 85% of my attempts to pa fails( still very very n00bish as a stealther) Its really about playstyle if you want to be slasher or thruster imo.
