I just can't stand Nissan Micras! I know it shouldn't bother me, being just a car and all, but I get irritated just looking at them, even if they're just parked at the side of the road; when they're actually moving, which is often hard to tell, I'll make detours simply to avoid them!. :)

They are rather gross, but they still rate higher than Smart cars (disabled motor vehicles for the 21st century imo).

My mum has a dirty purple one. She bought it brand new for cheap. She doesn't use it though. She's using the Mini with all the bits in it.

P.S. My dad got a brand new BMW 5 Series something something yesterday.

I hate them because, a guy down the street had a vendetta against me and kept parking it in my parking space at home, then go to wotk in his Golf.

Just because I got into my parking space when I moved in and he wanted to park there, even though he lived 100ft down the street with a perfect space right in front of his house.

Oh come on, how long do you all seriously expect uber-powerful cars to be darting about on the roads. Want to mess about? Go find a racetrack.

I know this is going to be a bit of a Universe -> :touch: <- me opinion, but look a bit further than your noses!

It's not about power for me, I just don't like the look of Micras; I suppose there is the slow element a bit, but that's mainly to do with the little old ladies that drive them around here very slowly rather than the capabilities of the car. I'm actually quite fond of those little cube-shaped smart cars. :)

Oh I agree with that funnily enough. My own car is far from sporty, but still manages to look nice enough (C3 Pluriel). But the cars referred to in this thread are not just cheap to run they are plain horrible ;)

I learnt to drive in a new Micra, it was horrible.

what's with old women driving brand new Golf GTi's, driving like total idiots and doing 40 in a 60 zone? there's loads of them round here!

Well if they all looked like that, sans stickers and with a few colour variations, I wouldn't be bothered by them at all. Looks like a kind of generic Ford Ka. :)

Heh, just saw on the news that they've started production of a new sporty convertable Micra this very morning at their Sunderland plant. :)

It doesn't look nice in the slightest, it looks like a poor woman's Vauxhall Tigra.

Also, I probably will take a picture. Will give me a reason to use my new camera.
