Yeah I know I've quit before but this time it's permenant.
My accounts run out in 2 weeks and I've no intention of renewing them.
Increased work load, the responsibilities of my new flat, and the time I spend with my girlfriend mean that time these days is at an absolute premium, and spending it on daoc is not want I want to do. That combined with a general weariness towards the game means that it's time to call it a day once and for all.
I will look back on this game with a lot of fondness, as I have made a lot of good friends here (including meeting my girlfriend when she applied for LoE and I was recruitment officer ), and enjoyed my time immensly in the original LoE and the Rigante.
Also learned a lot about life and priorities, and seen the darker side of mmorpgs and the levels of addiction they can foster. Seen friends lose their jobs, friends, sink into serious depression because of it. Started slipping down that road myself for about 6 months before I was given a good slapping. Wherever I go next, it will be on a much more casual level than daoc. Life's too precious and too short to waste on a PC game, never forget that.
Good luck to everyone with NF and have fun.
