Cabling Information.

Guys,

Reinstalling my surround sound back in the original room it came from, but looks like I cut the wires when I put it in the smaller other room.

Now I need some more cable, but im buggered if I know what one to get.

One of the cables seems to have "DV19" inscribed on it (eyes arent what they used to be) but the other cables (for the rear/center speakers are just flat (with sticky back to stick to walls if required.

Anyone provide some better nformation than I can?

It depends on how much you want to spend on cables. If you're not that fussed and don't have kit that's that expensive, probably cheap stuff will do. Chetan has speaker cable made from Cat 5 network cable on the cheap, PM him for more info.

so do I btw, and imho it's pretty decent quality too! you can make them reasonably easilly, and if you bother to sheath them with some nice stuff then they look the biz tbh. if you have access to large amounts of quality CAT5 with solid core strands you could even do it properly if you're so inclined. all your mates will be jealous and the Mrs will deny se><or due to the cables strung through the living room
