Just wondering. What level of MoF would I need for the caba trispec to be viable at RR4? Not as if RR6 will take long to get, but I'm kinda bored with spirit spec tbh. I would like to be able to NS and disease alot better.

I'm RR3 and to be honest having fun, granted I'm a pish player :)

Very few resists though, higher realm rank would be best of course!

PS I've no MOF..

i was 34/33/25 soon as i hit 50, with mof2 its perfectly viable. all u get as u rise in rr's is less power use and a bit less varience... and some nice toys ofc ;D

RR6 is only for 50 composite body for no damage variance afaik? I'm certainly planning on my cabby being trispec as soon as he hits 50. I will get MOF2 early on though, even on my minstrel I miss it and am getting it back ASAP, so I'll defo get it on cabby.

Ive been 46 s 25 b 11 m since rr 1 and nearly 10 :D solo bit annoying with no good ns, but pet fecking wicked just ml9 run off and kill loads, or warlock ns send pet run off :p

I prob test tri spec out at rr10 but ive been testing mate cabby out who tri spec and his rr8 i think and i still out damage him with base nuke, and he has more int and mof2 all same passive when ive got 25+ 19 body no mof was bit confused why.

Anyway 600+ a nuke plus crits is nice when tanks assist is grappled.

The reason you go tri-spec is for utility, not damage, and implying that having no good NS only plays a role for solo is a bit laughable. (Not that I've been much wiser myself, but that was more than two years ago. ;))

MoF only helps with the body resist debuff and isnt worth the RA points imo, NS and Disease u spam so much so it sticks anyway
33 spirit 34 body 25 matter best spec for a cabby imo

depens if u gonna solo or play in grp... grp gets more off a split spec caby, been tri since rr 1 on mine, but i been playing in grps all of hes rr's...

if u wanna solo alot, either spec like dotz or spec body / matter.. know solo rr 9 caby who been that spec most of his rr's

well trust me theres a real big difference between debuffs/ns & disease sticking mostly first-time and sticking 2nd or 3rd or 4th time ^^

heres the percent to get resisted
numbers found on vnboards

Level 34 AoE Disease:

No MoF - 23%
MoF 1 - 21%
MoF 2 - 18%
MoF 3 - 15% (Cap)

Level 33 Body Debuff:

No MoF - 23%
MoF 1 - 22%
MoF 2 - 19%
MoF 3 - 15% (Cap)

Level 25 Nearsight

No MoF - 27%
MoF 1 - 26%
MoF 2 - 23%
MoF 3 - 19%

judge yourself if mof3 is worth 10 rsp, i think its not at rr4, maybe when u rr6+ max u get out is 8% less chanse on getting resisted on lvl 25 NS
mof1 or 2 makes very little differance to even think of

no way is mof3 worth it, ever. we're talking about mof2 here.

you only need to try it to know thats bullshit :) especially with regard to ns, where qc+stick vs qc+resist can mean the difference between winning a fight and losing it, or at the very least needing a rez or not ;p

if the body debuff is resisted u do gimp dmg and not only that u need to recast it, wasting more time (and power).

Cheers for the input everyone. Rep for you.

I will stay 46 spirit for a while I think, and then spec tri @ rr6

These numbers are total % resisted, right?

An absolute change of 8% means that you are 30% less likely to be resisted per cast with MoF3 than you are with no MoF (8/27 = 0.3).

I disagree. I recently respec'd to 34Body 25Matter 33Spirit at RR5 and I find it a lot easier when running solo now, as caster battles are now won by my NS and the difference in speed of killing is not huge IME. I was Spirit spec until RR5 and it worked fine but I far prefer tri-spec.
