Here's a little movie I've thrown together. Nothing special, but an average evening running in Emain.

The group setup is 3 cabalists, 3 sorcs and 2 clerics.

Nice vid, if only cabalists had baseline stun that group would be unstoppable however as i feared and what is kinda shown in the vid, is that purple border nearsight causes some problems, clerics are pretty fast to cure it though.

If only nearsight was in the spirit or even body line for cabas, wtf is it doing in the matter line i dunno

edit: yes i know caba's can tri spec to get nearsight, but red border>>>blue border

Still some good ownage fights at the start of the vid, imagine if albs had all 3 power relics, I think there would be a lot more caster heavy groups like this

Just so u know, power relics just help u hit ur cap more often, meaning if u are RR5+ with over 330 int they basically dont help u.

thats a load of ass, my sorc has 34something int at 5l4 and (without a debuff) tends to hit an average (non body buffed char) for 400 or so, maybe a tad more. about 200 from cap

If ur talking about non debuffed nukes in a really low specced secondary line, then sure mate. Im referring to fully specced DD's. E.G chanters will hit harder with debuff nukes, but say a light menta is barely affected. Makes me wish i had gone luri for the extra 10 dex as my int is doing so little.

if you hit some1 for 400, with 3 power relics you will hit him for 480
they do exactly what they do, increase you damage by 20%

fight started with killing novas group then those 2fg mids ;|
and those hibs who purged 2x in less then 10 sec time was with only 7 man and 1 cleric ~~

imo debuff groups are albions best option when making a group and have been for a long time

well was pretty nice to watch a vid like this because it's a potentially nice group setup, saphri made a couple bad mistakes and in general has bad positioning and slow reaction speed but hey i guess getting rps from adding on ppl at atk road isnt all that good for your skills

but im just bitter looking forward to other vid.

- edit and flex that's a load of crap really, surely hibs have the advantage of power relics but you can't blame that to game balance as you seem to indicate. get a bg friar instead of bg paladin (dont really see what harm it can do in a mage group), next to that you have 16% energy from cleric so i don't really see the problem

not like there's much resists left after debuff, goes for alb/body and hib/heat.

Standing still all fight
Not interrupting anyone
Not even using pet in most fights (and if you do it's on the target you're nuking? wtf?)
Strong F8 targeting
Plenty of adds around to help

...I also think you have the lowest reaction time I have ever seen in a daoc video

Conclusion: I think I understand why you add so much now

1) don't see it as a whine, more like a sarcastic comment but that doesn't come out good on inet
2) Altho still, the fact is that there are no friars in alb with bodyguard etc (no active ones atleast, except quicksilver maybe). I would be more then happy to be able to group a friar, but that is a privilege we albs don't have atm.
3) It does make alot of difference, I get nuked just as much by a light eld as by a debuff nuker. With toa bonusses + 20% relic bonus light elds allmost cap on 26% resists.
