OK.

The 1.8T is smoother, about the same speed, doesn't rattle first thing in the morning, doesn't emit large clouds of black smoke when pushed hard and is cheaper to buy and refuel.

Diesels are rubbish.

Not meaning to be rude or anything but, comparing the picture of you in a previous thread and the size of a TVR - dont ya think you would need a LARGE shoehorn to get in / out ?

Cmon Wilier.

Get your head out of your Butt

Ive been in the A3 1.9tdi and you would swear it wasnt a diesel.

Take one out for a test drive.

Ok, OK, I admit it I was a bit hasty with my judgement. I have to admit I havnt driven diesel since my Sierra 2ltr went down the pan:(

Since Ive started travelling to work by myself (50mile round trip) the Beemer is caning me on fuel and tyres. So I took young Lazzers advice and took the above mentioned motah for a spin this morning.

Has to be said that I was pleasantly surprised, and if I can get a decent price for me BM, I may just get an A3.

Dont know if I can live with the fact that we will then have 2 "family" cars though.:(
