finally settled on my pressie to myself folks :)

as I'm not allowed to buy TVR's for some strange reason, I'm going to go for a lil Seat Ibiza.
It is a 'sport' model and has a 110BHp 1.9liter turbo-diesel engine, every extra available from electrically powered mirrors to wide 'pretend spr0tcar' tyres. It has strange abriv's like ABS, EBS, ATC [may be going slightly wrong there but I know nothing about cars heh ;)] and other things too. I like it :)

My original choice was either an Audi A4, a Seat Toledo or a ford something. Didn't like the bigger cars tho the big Toledo tdi was very nice. The salesman invited me to 'have a lark' with him in an Ibiza Cupra [a 2,5liter 180BHp souped up thing] and that sold me straight off. I wanted a diesel tho, as I'll be going to Amsterdam and back with it every day, and thus ended up with this one. Me happy :D

Congrats, TdC! :D I too know nothing about cars, but I hear the 'spr0t' is a particularly fine model.

Or modem. I forget.

I was looking at the seat too, but went for a saxo vtr in the end. both very nice tho.

if only I could afford the top model clio sport. mmm :)

clio spr0ts are quite mad little cars :)

i test drove a saxo vts. that was quite fun.

yeah. it was a very luxurious car but I didn't like it, as to me it 'felt' wrong. it was nippy enough but I thought it drove a bit mushy. I considered an A3 for a moment but didn't test drive one.
do you think I should have?

Theres an Audi A2 also, its like the A3 = Golf and A2 = Polo.

Just taken my shed off the road. MOT ran out last week, probably cost more than it's worth to repair it.

I actually prefer the current one to the new one released in April

Really? When did you last look at diesels..10 years ago? Get thee hence and look at some of the latest common rail engines.

Ive been in the A3 1.9tdi and you would swear it wasnt a diesel.

Take one out for a test drive.

In the local McDonalds car park, doing hand brake turns and wheel spins with all the other local 'shi...dodgy car' peeps

On the hard shoulder calling the AA/RAC

Or being cut open to free him from the wreckage
