Folk,

I have seen a lot of abuse directed at BW admins when they have been asked to visit servers due to dodgy players.

I called into the BWadmins after we had an LPB player refusing to leave the BW16 (56K only server)

Within about 30 secs, the player was kicked and banned.

A big thankyou to the admins

I see more abuse directed at admins who don't immediately ban suspected cheaters. I'm glad I can play on a network with such responsible admins, people who take time and observe a guy, and who don't ban unless they are reasonably certain the guy is cheating.

I still think Mystic G is a headcase though!:p

Yeah, i recorded a Guy (By the name of " --7 ") on one of the servers, coz he was one aimbotting fucker.

I installed mIRC, went to #bwadmins and told them there was a cheater on <server> and i looked up the server on GameSpy ans within like, mmm 5minutes the guy left (Kicked/Banned i dunno)

But when i went to another server a few hours later, the fucker returned using his Aimbot... so he musta had a Key Changer or somethin :/

Aye, BW admins, (from previous, especially Ch3tan) are the business. Just my word to say thanks for the work that you've all been doing in the past.

I aint seen any of the Admins i know around the Barrysworld Servers, possibly coz they're busy somewhere else, no cheaters around, or different name Alias', but they do the job when needed, and i suppose thats what we're after!

Thanks guys, its always nice to know our work is actually appreciated and that there are people out there who value what we do and dont expect us to respond to their queries within 2seconds of them typing it....

They were, most people want a CS admin :(

They cant seem to grasp the fact were not paid and we dont stare at #bwadmins 24/7 without blinking or eating just to answer their request...

Theres plenty of cs admins they just dont answer.

Erm Super_Gray I dunno what servers you play on or it might be u just aren't a very good admin spotter because I see BW CS admins all over the place and on loads of different servers throughout the day (and night). I also think they do an excellent job, I have been to bwadmins several times to report suspected cheats and every time I have recieved help without fail.

lol, well, i only know a Handful of Admins on mIRC for CounterStrike... plus i dont use mIRC very often

Man you'll make me blush. Anyway I'm not online ready to help as much as I would like anymore, but will when I can. Thankfully I have faith in many of the names mentioned in this thread to do the job.

just btb, that particular request was at 6pm ish, otherwise known as dinner time.

sk, if you played a popular mod you wouldnt have so much free time to criticise others perhaps? :p

and as you are obviously in #bwadmins 24/7 in the hope of someone in need of help... you should apply to be a cs admin as some of us unfortunately have lives... :p (i wub u really m8, im just pissed that i make a retarded conc jumper, although im handy with the shotgun, aint i? i played tfc before i'd even heard of cs, unfortunately when i play it now i suck ass, too much gren spam imo)

Other than that, its nice to be appreciated, although if it wasnt for barrysworld and its staff none of it would be possible. Im just glad i've been given the opportunity to give sommit back to the community. Oh, and jolt admins suck. (like the one who started banning ppl for calling him a cheat cause he was "pissed off").

Anyway, time to spam another thread somewhere... or maybe even play some sort of online game... hrm, subspace (continuum now :/ ) methinks.....

I am disapointed that not all the CS admins showed the dedication I and others have done, I hate coming back from a clanmatch only to see someone has been and gone in #bwadmins and left unanswered when there are like 20 - 25 CS admins, surely we have enough to have at least one around at virtually any time aside from ub3r early hours?

just 1hour a day from each admin if they were different hours would sort it...

I havent been around as much as I was when I first became a CS admin. I've been rather busy doing other things, such as playing CS, Sleeping, Eating, Watching TV and other things :p

I have gone from getting IRC info then banning, to just playing and policing as I play. Both ways work, I still do my job..

when p2p comes in make sure the proper working admins get free subscription to bworld so they can continue adminning, that will increase their commitment to admin as they are effectively being paid to do it ;)

just an idea :p

Yeah.. like when i went to #bwadmins everyone was *away* and the only person who talkd to me was some Quake 2 Admin (Forget name), but the guy was kicked or somethin, so they must have read my comments....

Over past few days it seems that only isuck and Mophead have been the only 'active' admins on...

Hmmm, I blame Buffy to be honest :p
