Usually places that sell printers also sell the ink.

Yep Amazon for me or ebuyer, but only when I need other stuff as you lose it on the postage

Went to buy some for my Canon printer once. Turned out a new printer, with scanner, was cheaper than the cartridges. I binned my old printer and got a new one plus cartridge for less

My brother had the same when he went to get some for his HP one

Printer ink is the most expensive liquid in the world (average of about $5500 a litre I think but that figure is a couple of years old). They sell the printers for not much at all but they mark the ink up so much it makes the printers themselves practically disposable.
