I think its quite dodgy buying through a forum. At least e-bay have some kind of safe guards in place if people are arseholes. If you buy something from someone here and it never shows, or its broken when it arrives, or they don't pay you, will just be a shed load of aggro.

I would normally Damini but I happen to actually trust some of these reprobates on BW...god knows why .

As with every story, there are two sides to it.

1) Forums (often specialist forums admitadly) can offer a good place to pick up something cheap from like minded individuals. I have a mate who regulary buys bits for his beetle of a forum.

2) Purchasing something off someone on a forum is entirly at your own risk and this has to be made very clear.

The only guy I would trust in here to buy my cheap but perfect dvds and games would be oldlester tbh. He seems like a stand up guy, and probably offers nextday delivery backed up by a friendly and customer-focused service.

One thing about a Classifieds Forum is that it will have to be moderated. By this I mean that Rules have to be put up regarding how sales are carried out and these rules require moderators. These moderators should have the power to ban abusers otherwise their power is impotent. Unfortunately BW does not seem to have such moderators except for Ted, Trebz and Bigfoot.
