Does anyone know if anything is happening with them. No one answers any of their phone numbers or their emails, not even the auto reply to support tickets works.
I wonder if they're changing hands/ownership or something?
I know that's the thing, their support has disappeared - none of the email addresses get a response anymore, every phone number listed on the site doesn't get an answer, in the UK or the US - in fact the US one cuts you off.
I have about ten sites with them, all working fine, but I'm just a bit worried something is up and they'll all get cut off at once.
I just got through to Chloe at Burton Hosting and she assures me that they are okay. There's something wrong with the US number, she says, but it's going to be fixed soon.
My emails I sent had been replied to apparently but they were never received on my btinternet account. We tried sending an email while she was still on the phone to my btinternet account but it never arrived, it isn't in bulk mail either. She sent it again to another account and I got it, so I guess there must be some glitch between them and btinternet, which is odd because it never happened before in the last three years.
Anyway, it seems that I don't jhave to move 8 of my websites after all, which is a relief.
Hmm, none of the numbers are working again and all my sites with BH, on different servers, aren't working either, which is unusual. The BH site isn't up either. It's probably a temorary problem, but it does worry me enough to think of switching.
