Buckfast is foul.

Basically it's so-called tonic wine made by monks at Buckfast Abbey. That makes it sound OKish, but effectively it's strong, thick, almost opaque brown vanilla flavoured "wine". Fucking horrible.

Buckfast is awesome hehehe. I've never seen one drink lay waste to so many people in my entire life. I introduced it to me mates down here in England, all but 1 loved it and refused to go out on the piss til we'd had a bottle. It's like really strong and treacly Vodka RedBull. The first sip is foul, but by the time you reach the end of your first glass, it's the greatest drink ever.

In the west coast of Scotland there's a pub and/or off-licence every 100 feet - ensures customer satisfaction.

Saying that... the majority of times I've enjoyed real malt, I've been more than a litte pissed.

Laphroaig is grand but I'm starting to prefer Jura. Not had any scarpa, I tend to not buy whisky by the bottle, it has a bad effect on me, in large quantities

On a serious note, Burns Night truly is a magical time for us Scots - after all the tourists leave we sacrifice a ginger baby to our god in the holy temple, then we dance naked in trance-like states round burning pagan effigies, before embarking on a an orgy of depraved carnal pleasure 'till dawn. Then we decide how much money we should print next year.
