ello . i tried this thread a few weeks back when i wasnt sure exactly how much i would have to spend and a lot of the replys i got DIDNT help much cos they all said to build my own .

well now the festive period has passed i now have 850 UK POUNDS left to buy myself a new computer.

so those that know there stuff please make me a list from this website http://vfm-computers.co.uk/ .. click the componants link on the homepage for it to take you to there page where u can build your own comp..

PLEASE do NOT tell/sugggest me to build my own. as easy as many of u said it is . i am not confident enough to risk doing it myself.

couple of things that i 100% definatly want in it are
DVD burner
CD-rom (for burning cd-cd)
WINDOWS XP (original version . not a copy)

main priority for this machine is playing DAOC/WOW so the uber monitors/sound cards/huge hard drives are NOT to important..

MB/GFX Card / Speed is and RAM is.

so as said above those that know there stuff can u please compile a list for m of EVERYTHING i would need to build my own comp from the above website..

thnx in advance for those whome make the effort for me. i would do it myself but i am a total pratt when it comes to tech stuff :)

p.s i CANNOT afford mor than 850. so please dont make comps that are 850+ quid (which MANY of you did last time)

.. thnx again in advance :)

FLOPPY DRIVE
HCF MODEM
ATX MIDI TOWER CASE,

Do a Google on 'Novatech' m8. Tend to build my own & am thinking of not bothering at this firm's prices. There are other sites that do custom builds, with more options than the aforementioned - 'CCL' are one of..
Don't bother with 'Genius' btw - Logitech & MS packages can be had for about £15

Personally i wouldnt give a penny to a company that cannot make a website actually work.

personally i'd only buy at decent stores. if your pc is faulty or anything and the company sucks, you're screwed. royally.

if you buy 1 component, sure, buy it at the cheapest store.

if you buy a whole pc, make sure you'll get good support.
