Now - not to get into an argument about this but how the hell is leading a debating team (organizing rehearsals, setting milestones, bringing in an experienced lady to aid) and being part of an acting group to present to an audience not social skills?

Just because I choose to do such events rather than get pissed and wake up next to an elephant (not saying you do - just a passing comment) means i have no social skills?

Oh and Everz - go to post #211 - someone has beef with you - or are you hiding from them?

Organising (Spelt with an S not a Z you american fool) people is not something i'd class as a "Social Skill", i'd say it's more of a Mangement one.

Bugz, good to hear you're doing great, but how do you have time for all that?

• Homework
• Charities
• Debate Clubs
• Academic Clubs
• Girlfriend
• Family
• Free time

and so on..?

That's not even alot.

Know a girl who does three jobs, goes out clubbing, is a dance instructor, has a boyfriend, visits her mother atleast twice a week and still manages to take time for herself and relax, and do some painting.

Sounds crazy, but there's so many hours/week that it's quite easy. People just waste most of the time, i know i do.

Saying that people who party trough school get better jobs is just stupid. You do need social skills but not the kind you get while drinking with your friends. That wont help Bugz though since hes an ass.

I'm a very people person in school - helped greatly by the great house system we have in our school.

Acting cup is damn well fun & a good chance to perform and let your hair down (and wear funny costumes).
Debating is a great way to hone your public speaking skills. I couldn't make this year's competition due to other commitments but I made sure to bring in a lady to help coach the squad.

I also have a few chairty and academic clubs up my sleeves.

All is not lost! Set your eyes on the prize, work hard enough and it will be yours! (or you will fail in style!).
