Nahh it is just him making fun:) - Because he knows I am a commie then he refers to "enhedslisten" like that aswell - After the hole thing where I bought my friends vote so he would vote for enhedslisten aswell. But me voting for enhedeslisten is just in lack of anything better atm. KP is growing atm and I just hope that will continue so that we one day can get into power:D. - And get a real commie party hehe.

I am a member of a youth organisation called "Rød ungdom", that is a bit more commie-friendly than enhedslisten. We are a revolutionary group of young people trying to do our bit to make Denmark a better place to live - no matter how rich or poor you are.

the day i vote for V or K is the day I loose all faith and self respect :p
once that's said tho, I'd also never vote for enhedslisten.
Last election I voted the furthest "left" I've ever done SF \o/ ;)

QFT.

Atm I am doing a project at uni about all the "new" voters SF got the last time. And what sort of impact it got on politics in Denmark, if any.

So perhaps I'll ask you to participate in a survey for me at some point, if you would be interested?

I'm not trying to get a job lol.

I'm trying (or was trying) for Oxbridge.

Prefects/headboy/head of something or other is crucial tbh.

maybe go to the principal and see if you can give him some head?

i wouldn't worry, Oxford and Cambridge applications are almost entirely on the interview being a prefect means nothing at all to get into uni
However if they are popular then they are more than likely to have the social skills to get it :p

hell they sent me a letter over someone with predicted 4 A's at A-level, if its any indication of how important the interview is.
If your social skills are lacking, well i suggest you fix them

And yes the place is full of cocks :p, if its not your scene then i suggest you think hard whether you want to be miserable for 4 years

doh edit timer,
LSE, Imperial, Kings and UCL have the biggest starting salaries when you finish uni
St Mary's, Royal Holloway, Kings and UCL are best for getting jobs after leaving

if you are after money (Oxford, Cambridge are 8th and 9th)

So if you dont get in its not the end of the world

Bugz is our local "young 'un", always rode about being a youngster and very often we could hear a story or two about how something was unjust.

But, when Bugz does think a bit before posting(as we all should), he does make good points, has some intelligence brewing in his teenage brain and all in all, isn't any worse/better then the rest of us.

As some old geezer with a long white beard would say "Smart kid, just needs to calm down a bit."

I've got a friend who goes there and he went to a comprehensive school like me, it's nothing special but it's not a dive. He's just incredibly smart, not a head of anything, didn't blow any of the teachers at our school or at Oxbridge to get there.

Bugz, you do realise the chances of you and your missus being together after college and uni is pretty much zero? All those good looking lads at uni etc, she will drop her knickers faster than you can say "I have more GCSE's than you".

To plan your life around your GF at such a tender age will only lead to heartbreak.

I wouldn't have bothered mentionng it to him, he'd find out soon enough.
Plus when it did, the last of the gulibility of youth will be well and truly killed. Thats a good thing.

When i said this to some other young couple here, i was told off as a pessimistic a-hole or some such, might have been Bugz too, they never listen, but love doesn't "stand all" anymore as people break up for silly reasons.

Agreed, but its only when it actually happens to someone that they start listening to the advice you've been giving out for months/years at a time.

I just print out sheets with all the advice on and keep a few on me when I go out now. Getting fucking sick and tired of repeating myself, and then having to sit with some poor degencted bastard as s/he cries into their Cider (Pussies I know, they should have been on spirits).

Tell me 'bout it. I'm not getting sick and tired of it, but the not listening part really would amaze me...if not...i was just the same back when i was 20'ish.

So now, i tell the advice, leave it at that, and enjoy as the young'uns do the same f*cking mistakes i did.

Ofcourse when opportunity rises, i try and tell "don't do it...you'll be sorry...etc" and hope someone takes note.

I think it has something to do with a "you can't get smart if you don't f*ck up" rule. If it's not a rule, i now will own it :D

Some of them don't even learn from their mistakes, repeating them like some infinate stupidity loop.
You ever get the "But I've had more sex than you" defence? I always laugh at that one.

"Realy, so the two unplanned kids with a woman whose driving you nuts is worth all that sex? How about the job you hate and are now stuck in thats slowly draining your will to live, or the mortgage thats sucking up all your free cash. So, did you manage to sell all your stuff off, because we all know your never going to be allowed to use it again. And the car, oh it was such a pussy magnet, and now you have to drive a shitty city car cos its got five seats and good economy.
More fool me for not having all that sex."

Well no matter how much you try to tell a person in love that it wont last they will never listen. And I think that is a great thing. Love is one of the best things, imo.
It is the reason I get out of bed every day.

It might last or it might not - but you will have to live through it to learn from it. No matter what some forum gimps like us say, it is something that is to be learned from personal experince.
And how lovely that some still belive in love. So do I but I am also nothing more than a simple romanticist. ;->
