That's fine, but if you start revising at the cost of your social life then what's the point in it all? Exam results don't make up for lost friends and no social skills. Enjoy your mid teen years and leave the sitting at a desk for uni.

Main reason I'm trying to get a good streak in my GCSEs is for Univerisity choices - as obviously when you get to the higher ones, the competition is tough - and I'd like to have GCSE grades to fall back on as there are a lot of clever fucks in the world :D

University entrances is put on a points system, the points are from AS and A levels, not GCSE's. Slacking off in GCSE's is no proof that someone won't perform at AS/A level.

Thing is, I've never worked particularly hard for exams, because I know I'm shit in exam situations anyway and any revision doesn't really help. I just have to hope and pray I'll be able to answer the questions with the knowledge I do have.

I haven't developed a time table so to speak - but I normally have 11am, 3pm & 8pm as hour revision slots. Some subjects like English & Statistics I don't need to revise so I haven't really given them any proper revision time.

damn lol, think the subjects ill ignore are RE(one of the few who did it-passed)/stats/english(my coursework got old mark to B)/citizenship(passed already)/graphics/ICT/Business(passed A*)

so just the maths, sciences and french to worry about.. heh

qft!

Was actually an intresting study at my school, those students who graduated in the set time (4.5years) and did it with flying colors was less successful in their work life than those who did it in about 6 years and had average grades. The straight-A students where less prone to get connections etc during their study time or something like that :)

A bit offtopic but eh :)

actually GCSE's are worth something, a few of the jobs I looked at in the library service required GCSE's in english, maths etc at lvl a-c. tbh its always worth getting qualifications at the highest lvl you can because they're a bit like tetinus shots you never know if your ever going to need them but if a situation comes up where your do your glad you got them.

More like underrevision.

I'm trying to dedicate 2-3 hours a day to revision - mainly science and C1 Maths as they are my weak points.

However, with such nice weather - I'm finding it hard to find the concentration etc. to do solid revision. Going to invest my time into after-school revision classes instead - that way I have to do the work and can't fuck off outside or log onto WoW (unless I take a laptop....mmmm :p)

Saying that - I never realised how revising with friends could be so informative. Me and a mate being doing it over MSN using microphones and it's great to have a second opinion on stuff.

That said, thanks for those who have MSN'd me their addys.

Also if anyone's playing horde on Burning Steppes, give me a PM also ;)

2-3 hours??? wtf

Nick you are a bright kid. You will get the necessary grades to get into college without revising at all. No one cares if you get A*'s or C's
