Bugged axe?

Anyone else but me did the SI quest Ancestral Secrets?

Anyways after completing the quest I picked the 2h Axe because of its pretty nice proc. (damage add 11 dps it says on warcry)

But it doesnt work!
Sure it proccs but when I hit something it doesnt add any dmg.

Anyone else had the same problem?

isn't it a damage Shield?

ie when you get hit it does damage to the mob/player that hit you.

Being capped at 16.2/5 DPS, all that givse u is a red con hammer that will degrade faster

So is this 16.5 some kind of game-wide hard dps cap?

At lvl 50 you have a damage cap of 16.2 with a 100% weapon.

Once you get to Realm Rank 5 it goes up to 16.5.

I did ancestral secrets too...
Wasnt it supposed to give an uber resist neckie instead of a crappy weapon? Well another item for salvage i think...

I got ported to Knarr after finishing the quest and got a pretty good jewel from a troll, ^^

Salvaged the 2h axe before trying it.

The necklace is random, it's like 1/20 who gets it, according to IGN boards.

Beaded Resisting Stones

There will be a change to the Beaded Resisting Stones, one of the random quest rewards for Ancestral Secrets. IN 1.60, THE NECKLACE WILL BE SET TO NO TRADE. Everyone needs to make sure the necklace is where you want it to stay, because after the next patch you won't be able to give it to any other characters.

We are making this change because we will be implementing some changes in the quest that will allow ALL Midgard players the opportunity to get this highly coveted necklace, even if they have already finished the quest. Look for patch notes explaining the changes we made. Please note that quests that offer equivalent rewards for Albion and Hibernia are in the works.

Didn't find where how to get it in 1.60 but I wouldnt salvage those rewards just yet

too bad, since you are supposed to be able to swap it for a 4x10% resist necklace later

i got the 1h axe because its a nice hand axe imo 16.2 eff dps and 2.4 speed, not that bad, it hasn't procced once yet..
