Was about to say the same thing :D

Also, if you actually spent the same amount of money on the bike as that guy must've done on the car, I think you'd see a difference :)

Don't get me wrong, I luv my throbbing silver dirty beast of a motorbike, but having said that, I'm not exactly going to say "No fuck off" if someone offers me a Bugatti Veyron. In fact, I'd sell my wife for a Bugatti Veyron...

* What dear ? I think you'll find it on the second shelf down ! *

Phew, close one !

most uninteresting topic... ever!

Despite getting hits and interesting replies? :eek7:

How about I start a thread about my belly button fluff and the new pseudo material I create when I combine it with my ear wax?

That ain't a patch of the one where they're naked at Donington - much better class of both fluff, wax and women.

yeah maybe. but i dunno if i wanna have about 1/3:rd of a inch of plastic around my head as protection when shit hits the fan.. i much rather have a good airbag, a seat belt and a deformation zone on a car thank you very much :)

wearing a helmet is always good ofc, but i'd like some protection around *all* of me. :)

My parents tell me this every time I go out on my bike, for me I hate the idea of being a cage driver :p

I guess some of it comes from losing friends to car accidents - kinda gives me the impression that airbags, seatbelts and crumble zones on cars arent going to save you if shit really does hit the fan :)

I like the way that on a bike, you seem to have a little more control, possibily an illusion, not really sure, all I know is that if I've got to avoid trouble in the first place, a bike seems to have a better chance of manovureing around it than a car.

A couple of times so far I've been in a situation in which if I'd have been driving a car, I'd have had an accident.

I understand what you're saying though, if you do have to have a crash, you stand a better chance of surviving it in a car than a bike. Down to preference I guess, for me I'm now getting ready to do a direct access bike test, and still cant imagine having to drive a car :)

yeah, when it comes to avoiding stuff, a MC is probably the better option (depending on how fast you go ofcourse) then a car.

I've been on a shit fast bike (R1) and in shit fast cars (350z/impreza) and the bike was miiiiles more fun than the cars, so in this case the r1 rider wins for me, he has paid very little compared to the veyron owner, is having more fun and manages to keep up for the most part.

I'm not a motorbike fan, but from a purely technical standpoint you have to admit the Bugatti is superior to the bike :)

Plus in my personal opinion, the car looks better, is more comfortable, and of this there is no doubt: is faster than the bike. Whether or not it's less fun i don't know, i've never been on a fast bike.

Fun is personal to each person.

For me, I'd have more fun in a Veyron as its my dream car, and, to be honest, I'd probably be shitting myself doing 170 mph on an R1. I've done over 150 in a car. On a bike its a different ball game. One word. WIND.

EDIT: I really like the Renault Kangoo van. Dunno why. It just looks cute. Postman Pat like

Yep, Bugatti Veyron is faster than that GTR piece of crap on the straight. Its faster than a fucking formula 1 car. Its eats a Maclaren F1. No other vehicle on the planet not propelled by rockets or aviation fuel is faster. End of.

what about Koenigsegg CCXR, only thing know about it is that its topspeed will be above 400 km/h and it has 1018 Horse power? Surely it would stand a chance to beat it in speed?
