I'll try and get this back on topic. I don't watch Buffy much but my missus loves it and is what could be considered a Buffy nut. She reckons that the latest Buffy series is pretty good but that the older ones are better.
Personally, I think its ok. Its not exactly amazing but its fun to watch and there is far worse stuff on the schedules.
For the record, I would shag the arse off Faith.

Both season openers were fantastic, especially Angel - we were wetting ourself laughing at the credits.
Buffy is fluffier than Angel, Angel is darker than Buffy. Both are fantastic series, primarily due to the excellent writing, but also because the humour suits the actors, the acting suits the scrips, and the setting suits the style.
Very much a pair of "quality" series.

Buffy is knackered. She looks like she used to be attractive, but someone smashed her in the face with a snow shovel (hence her nose, which is hideous).
Willow angers me with her voice, although she looks pretty tasty in this month's FHM.
Faith is a fox, and clearly dirty (eg you know Faith would blatantly be up for a spitroast or something).
Cordelia is annoying due to stupidity, pretty attractive tho.
Angel has extremely l33t clothing and hair.
Spike is a ponce, and flaunts the worst mock English accent ever. No, actually, that award goes to his old bird (Drusilla isn't it?) OK, the second worst mock English accent ever. "Kill 'er Spoike".
Xander is like a proto-Chandler, and a shit one at that.
Doyle was pretty cool, shame he's dead tho.
Riley (?) was a fag.

staz, my other half has a thing for Angel, Spike, Giles and Oz, so nothing new there.
Stu-, her nose is her best feature, it's what makes her face so interesting.
I'm enjoying Cordy's new found concience, which lapses occasionally into old-Cordy, very good, and Wesley's character is expanding as well.
My only beef is Xander - I really do want them to DO something with him, and stop him from being the total dork he was last season (on Sky).

I liked the Buffy episode that was on last Friday, i do feel sorry for Dawn though but its funny that she has the hots for Xander. Well who wouldnt he is yummy!!!

Considering the totally shite way that the yanks think we speak, Spike's english accent is a complete revelation compared to all the bad impersonations the yanks have done of us in the past.

Gotta admit Doyle was actually the best character in either series yet I can't believe they killed him of after about 7 episodes, gonna be interesting to see if they bring him back later in this series of angel or next (like Darla is now back etc).
