Buffing in RvR groups: how it's done

I've come across it time and again now, relatively new player comes to RvR, does buffs in the time honoured pve fashion and doesn't want to change, group is weak because of it.

So here is my advice to you (bear in mind blue AF is useless on lev 50s in epic armour):

Bard: buff mages + bard with con + dex, other meleers with con + str (and dex if leftover)

Druid: buff highest yellow con buff to ALL group members first! v important. then int + yellow dex for mages. then yellow dex for bards. then finally haste and dex for meleers. if more than 1 druid, do cold and heat resist (matter resist and thornsprout are crap).

Warden: if not enough blues, fill in the gaps. then most importantly, buff RESISTS. give all group members body + spirit first. if any conc left, give out energy resist.

just thought i'd write this down in the hope it will make those long 'Buff Waits' at ligen smaller :)

Peirce users ( shades and rangers mostly ) are better benifitted having blue con, and dex instead of str due to the fact are weps are dex based and evade is dex related, same goes for ylow buffs, dex imo is far more important for us,

Yeah, it's funny how ppl think the buffs are irrelevant and buff the wrong ppl with wrong buffs. Some ppl don't even correct if told to, which is silly :p

I having less nurture than most lvl 40 druids don't usually do yellows at all if there's another druid in group, who many times bitch at me for 'doing only blues'...

Not to mention the ppl fully buffing themselves and giving rest of the group random buffs.

Pierce weapons are str/dex based, 50/50 i think. So a strength buff will have as much effect as a dex buff damage wise. However as dex helps parry/block/evade too it's preferable to a str buff.
But if there are spare buffs a str buff doesn't hurt on a pierce user.

Rangers have their own buffs for STR, QUI/DEX, AF and a damage add. Obviously the tanks should go first, but if buffs are available we need CON and additional DEX first for maximum damage, and then whatever else is left over after that. If buffs are available it's still nice to have blue buffs even if they are the same as our own yellows, simply because ranger buffs are on a 10 minute timer and they do tend to run out at awkward moments.

Thx for info i usually do this with my yellows :

Tanks : Haste, Str/con & Dex/con
Mages : Str/con & Int
NS/Rangers : Str/con, Dex/con and if poss a blue dex or a haste
Bards : Str/con
Wardens: i treat as a tank cos they fight while running bubble.

And for myself if i can Blue Con & str/con

Am i wrong is this ^^ ??

Add dex/qui to both mages and bards since dex is their casting speed stat. Actually thats the most important buff to lay out.
Personally I'd rather have a dex then a con If I have to choose. Since I live if I get my mezz of and I die if I dont no matter how much con I have (Yeah I know its a bit simplified but its basically true)
